STI opened higher on US's good closing numbers but traders sold at strength to edge STI lower by 9.61 points to close at 3078.36. Despite sellers best effort, STI closed higher than the open price of the gap down for Thursday's market.
"Singapore's Straits Times Index (STI) ended the week at 3,078.36, dipping 9.61 points or 0.3 per cent. The blue-chip index shaved off 47.27 points or 1.5 per cent from last Friday's close of 3,125.63." - The Business Times

STI gap down to open below its bull channel bottom and then it par loses to close higher but still below it. The current candlestick patter is looking similar to the last rally so could history repeat?
