Reply to @opy : Maybe one can consider to look at the avarage duration of the lease that the tenant have with the reit. If many tenants feel that its no longer worth the buck to continue the lease cos wan to downgrade operations or rentals drop due to reit wanting to retain the tenant, then the reit will get hit. Leases dont just expire overnight thats y reits suffer the last during recession. Jus my 2 cents thoughts
well, can reits provide covera once again? if so, how long can reits provide such covers?
