The total return of a stock is the sum of it's dividend return + capital gain. Solely focusing on it's capital return is only telling half the story. To be fair & unbiased, be courageous to reveal the total return of Singtel over the last 20 years, inclusive of dividends, especially since Singtel is a dividend stock, not a growth story....?
Done a quick calculation since everyone wants to know Singtel's Total Returns inclusive of dividend returns.
It is 135.86% returns for over 20 years (if you include the upcoming 6.8 cents dividend in Dec 2019).
