[Will 2025 be the year of REIT-turns or REIT-grets?]

After S-REITs revisited the lows of July back in December 2024, we believe it represented yet another buying opportunity. We added another tranche of position back then by taking some profits from the US markets.

So are REITs investors just getting lucky at the start of this new year or could this be the beginning of something big? 😄

[Softer CPI data revives FED easing hopes]

Core inflation slows to 3.2%, better than the 3.3% expected outlook.

US stocks surged and treasuries yields eased overnight. The 10-year yield fell 13 basis points to 4.653%, having the largest fall in 14 months.

This also bodes well with our Singapore REITs which tend to have an inverse relation with the 10 year yield.
