Voya Prime Rate Trust (the Trust), formerly ING Prime Rate Trust, is a diversified, closed-end management investment company that seeks to provide investors with as high a level of current income as is consistent with the preservation of capital. The Trust seeks to invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in the United States dollar denominated floating rate secured senior loans. It targets top-tier, non-investment grade senior loans. The Trust invests primarily in senior loans. Voya Investments, LLC. is the investment adviser of the Trust.
